Lysá Ski Resort is located in eastern Slovakia, 10 km from Sabinov in the Čergov Mountains. It offers skiing at an altitude of 700 m, on a 500 m ski slope of medium difficulty. Two ski lifts with a total capacity of 1500 people / hour are used to transport skiers. At present, the area does not have technical snowmaking, so the operation depends on sufficient snow cover. If there is enough snow, cross-country skiing enthusiasts will also enjoy themselves - the area offers several kilometers of cross-country trails.

The town lies in the Torysa valley, on the border of the Čergova and Bachurne mountains. The city is dominated by the Gothic church of St. John the Baptist. The most valuable in the church is the main altar, the original of which is located in the National Museum in Budapest and comes from the workshop of Master Paul of Levoča. The historical and architectural panorama of the town of Sabinov is complemented by a Greek Catholic, two evangelical churches and an Orthodox church, built on the edges of the historic core. In the city you can also admire the Piarist grammar school, Sabinov town hall and the Renaissance bell tower. There are several originally Renaissance and Baroque burgher houses on the square. Nature lovers are offered interesting walks to the Švabľovka forest park, or to the surrounding Čergov and Bachureň mountains with beautiful natural scenery and the ruins of Hanigov Castle. The city swimming pool is one of the most visited in the region.
