The Marian Sanctuary in Wiktorówki
The Marian Sanctuary in Wiktorówki, also known as the Sanctuary of Our Lady Queen of the Tatras or Our Lady of Jaworzyńska, is located in the Tatra National Park in the High Tatras, in the immediate vicinity of Rusinowa Polana at an altitude of about 1,200 m above sea level. You can get there by the tourist trail from Zazadnia. The creation of this object is related to the shepherdess Marysia Murzańska, who around 1860 was to experience a miraculous revelation of a Beautiful Lady or Shining Lady. Over time, this place became a destination for pilgrimages. Currently, there is a statue of the Mother of God in the altar, which was originally placed in a small chapel. Fathers from the Dominican order take care of the sanctuary. Nearby, there is a spring with water believed to be healing, as well as a wall with plaques dedicated to mountaineers and other people who died in the mountains.
