Przehyba (Prehyba, Przechyba) is one of the main peaks in the Radziejowa Range in Beskid Sądecki. In addition to the asphalt route from Gabon, there are several hiking trails to the top, incl. from Szczawnica and Stary Sącz, as well as from Krościenko, Rytro, Jazowska and Piwniczna-Zdrój. The name of the hill comes from the Czech language, meaning the pass, but it was dropped by the Ruthenians living in the nearby village. Initially, this term was used in relation to the surrounding hall, and with time the summit itself was called so. Probably falls under the Poprad Landscape Park, which was created in 1987 and where the protection covers mainly mineral water springs (szczawy), Carpathian beech forest and other interesting species of flora and fauna. In the western part of the hill, there is the PTTK Shelter on Przehib (1150 m) and the Radio and Television Broadcasting Center with an 87 m steel tower. Probably it is a very scenic place – there are wide panoramas to the south, from where you can see the Pieniny and Tatra Mountains, but also to the north, with the characteristic Sądecka Basin.
