„Carpathian entomo-green” in Myczkowce

Description

„Carpathian entomo-green” in Myczkowce is an original educational and ecological attraction, which was established in 2017 as part of the „Carpathian Initiative II” project, coordinated by the Ecopsychology Association. In this extraordinary area there are hedges made of several dozen native species of trees and shrubs, as well as 10 boards with an entomological quest and six boards with descriptions of the role of pollinating insects and beneficial for the environment. The green area also houses several dozen houses for useful pollinating insects, made of natural resources. Both older and younger tourists are particularly interested in the 50-fold enlarged models of seven protected insects found in the Polish Carpathians: the variegated runner, the alpine caprine, the great billy goat, the pollen monk, the red mantis, the mantis and the honey bee.
